Well its obviously been a while since the last post. I was intending to post the finished low poly mesh some time ago, but, well... life happens and I am way behind. If I am not working in Zbrush by next class, you all have permission to slap me. Anyway, I am getting close now, here is what I have thus far.


  1. Ethan, the base model is looking great. If you're planning on using the xNormal pipeline, I would recommend making a clone of that and adding some 'fencing' edge loops to preserve hard edges when smoothing in Zbrush. I ran into this problem many times with a previous project and I can say that prepping a mesh with fencing is a great way to prevent numerous future headaches.
